New Changes, as opposed to the old.

Well, at this time of change in season coming from the hype of Christmas to the New Year, then onto new beginnings in January, find myself being challenged by many things. This is a good thing, of course. Anyway, as for podcasting, I now own the Belkin Voice Recorder for the iPod. This should make podcasting go fairly easily while on the go. I'm envisioning updates even in the middle of the day at school, sayyy during a study hall or something of the sort. :-P

Anywho, my Holidays have been filled with laughter, joy, and genuine goodness, which is welcome at any time in my life. Its somewhat odd coming from the high-speed train known as "school", "school life", and all that implies then slamming the breaks into the blissfull Christmas Holiday.

OOoo, i also have the opportunity to get an account with Radio Userland, which would provide me with more webspace, enough to build a fully functional website, which I could expand to do whatever I need it to do. Sort of... Let me know if you have an opinion.

Alright, i'm off for the evening. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, So long. :-)

Trip

Well, I've been in jackson, MS all weekend. That would be the reason for a lack of updating. :-P I was visiting my grandfather for Christmas. :-) It was really nice to see him. But, no podcast tonight, I've been in the car for 6 hours, and of course, I'm reall tired. I have no idea how sitting in a car for that long can make one tired, but I'm beat. I should be doing the next podcast in around twelve hours (Monday Morning). For now, good-night all. :-D

ExamCast

Well, here it is. The next podcast.

Get the podcast here. | 19.6 Mb | 21:10 | @ 128Kbps (Touché)

Production Notes:

Opening Song: "Journey to Reedham (7AM mix)" by Squarepusher. Although I just discovered the album this was released on, "Big Loada", WAS released by the RIAA. (not WarpRecords) Too late, I've already done the production... owell. :-/

Someday i'll be able to pull these images off my palm, I'm pretty sure I took a picture of the advertisement I saw... :-P

Last Song: "Our Own Way to Fall" by Yo La Tengo. Album: And Then nothing Turned Itself Inside Out. GREAT album I recommend it to anyone.

^|^ About that link, I have no idea why it is working, but I am with the relatives right now, so I can't do too much about it. :-/ This weekend, my first weekend off (NO MORE EXAMS!!) has been really busy.

Latin Exam

I felt a little iffy on this one since the beginning. I just didn't know what to expect, or what to know. :-P I'm pretty sure I got a B on it, which would still give me an A average for the semester... That'd be nice to have. :-D Tomorrow= History with my beloved (by that I mean despised) teacher. I will be studying for at least 2 hours hopefully. Somehow, I can do that really easily for math or Chemistry, but not for history... I think more than half of my problems in that class are the teacher. In fact, I know all of my problems in that class are from the teacher. Just take a look and my history of history classes... ;-) So, going to go through tomorrow, maybe have some fun with "datapool". (search google, and search deep to find out what I'm talking about). I must go study, then I shall ride out into the west on my Stallion to become immortal in the eyes of history.

Examinations

Today= Algebra II and Chemistry I (felt good about them)
Tuesday= Latin
Wednesday= History

THEN I"M DONE!! I cannot wait, now I must go study Latin. :-(

As for podcast, I'm gathering some pretty fun material, I will try to have one for you tomorrow. :-/

Finally, A podcast

well, here it is, unprepared and opinionated. :-P My podcast. After a week of podcastlessness, here it is. I'm not gurenteeing anything amazing, I'm just doing what I've always been doing.

Sed Pødcåst.

Production Notes:

W0W, I came rather unprepared for this one.

Forbidden Fruit (BT's and PVD's Food of Love Mix) [mixed down by yours truly].

A few srticles were mentioned, but the links to them were on my Windows HardDrive, and I haven't imported my bookmarks yet. Sorry. :-P

Well, most of this podcast seems to be either opinion, or just winblog. O well.
As for those pictures I mentioned, I still must set up the Palm with my Linux box; I will probably end up posting them here.

No Computer

I have no PC as of now. I am on ye olde trustworthy mac, of course. However, it is a G3 and it freaks out every time I try to record in Garage band. So Still no freaking podcast. >:-O I plan on staying up all night tonight if it takes that long to get my linux box up and running. I don't plan on it taking that long, but heh, you never know. I'm not going to school tomorrow so it won't matter either way. :-P I *will* have a podcast for you by tomorrow evening. Grrr.... So busy, so many things. The weekend is here tho, so i have time to do most of them. :-D

Tuesday, December 07, 2004

Only a few more days;

I'm really trying to hold out. Come Wednesday or Thursday I will have a podcast. I must forego all other things aside from school for the next 24-48 hours, including sleep, I fear.

What i want for Christmas...

is some time. If you could just wrap a nice little package of pre-paid time, that'd be great. Then, maybe I'd have enough time to do all my homework, do a podcast, and go support the Arts at my school. As of right now, I need to spend all of my time on homework, which blows. I'm ready for my break. Only 3 more REAL days of school left. I also thought of a fun thing i might get myself for Christmas, the iTalk for the iPod. Then, I could record a podcast on the GO! Whamo, I'm going to go make some hot chocolate and sit down to my homework. :-( Hot chocolate? :-D homework. :-( hot chocolate? :-D.... etc....
....... no podcast.... :-(

No Podcast

Teachers tend to give massive amounts of work the day we get back from a huge break. Not cool. That plus a combination of odd things will lead me to no podcast for tonight. I really want to do one, but I probably won't be able to. I should get one in tomorrow, tho.

The Thanksgiving break is ending, as we all know. I will be having to go back to school. :( I have thoroughly enjoyed my break. Also, another podcast is ready for your ears. Turkey

Well, I really wanted to do a podcast, but the events of the day + the extreme sleepiness will keep me from doing one tonight. My iPod just recently went wacko. The songs are still there, its just the OS doesn't recognize them, neither does my computer, REALLY ANNOYING!! I'm tired. goodnight.

That 60's Christmas Show

Last night I went to "The Boiler Room" community theatre to see "That 60's Christmas Show". You can get my full review in the podcast from last night. Now, I realize that there need to be a few improvements on the show, and I believe this podcast will be very different from the other, just in the way I speak and all. I put some good thought into this one; tell me what you think... O, and its taken me this long to post it because my cable modem is worthless. I have also found an alternative to hosting my own podcast. It should be up and running by the next podcast, making the download much much quicker.

Get the podcast here!

Production Notes:
First Song: "Le Monde" by The Thievery Corporation.
Second (last) Song: "PBS/KAE" by Tycho.

Other Links Mentioned:
The Boiler Room Theatre. You can purchase tickets online as well!

Freeview: the Free British digital T.V. equivalent. (well, nothings free, but it's pretty close.)

Also, you can now send me an audio comment by calling 1-440-551-4525. It will then email me the audio file, and who knows, if its a good comment, it might appear in the next show! All sorts of cool things are happening.

At School

Well, i'm at school for this post, so I'll have to make it quick. My internet was down this morning, so i couldn't post my podcast that I did last night. I explain most things in there, so you oughta listen to it. :-P

Production Notes:

Opening Song: "Sal Del Mar" by System 7 on album "The Seventh Wave".

Ending Song: Got from Indie Feeds:. They should explain the rest. Since I'm at school, I can't tell you the links to where to go, but once you listen to the podcast, Ir'll tell you. Sorry for the inconvenience. I will edit this once I get home, if I have time...

P.S. I also can't help the fact that the speed for download of my podcast is about as slow as my finger nail's growth rate. I am trying to find an alternative host on the web. I really don't want to pay extra money/ can't pay extra money. Any ideas?

A day off

Yesterday I did not update, mainly because it was friday. I don't have another podcast for you guys, but I should be doing one again sometime soon. Say, tomorrow... perhaps. I'll tell you all about my weekend fun then. For now, I'm uber tired. I will be taking the weekend off from blogging. :-(

Back to the Grind

Aaannnd, I'm back here today. I have quite a bit of homework to do. Lots of studying, but next week is only a two day week. And my motivation for this week is the Band of Brothers marathon tomorrow. Word.

I do also have another podcast for you guys. Its about 23 minutes long. I think I'm finally figuring out how to do this.

Production Notes:

Krog

Well, I actually did another podcast tonight. I really wanted to just test my new headset. MUCH better sounding, I hope you guys enjoy the random twist I throw in... With the music...

Please, tell me what you think of the podcast, any improvements, things to talk about... etc...

New Blogo!

That's right guys. I was up until 12 playing with photoshop and this image.
Tell me what you think! :-D

My day was a little wierd, I spent the afternoon with dad. Ate dinner, came home. mom talked to me for about 30 mins, so that would be why i haven't done a podcast for today. OOooo yeah, and today i got one of Plantronic's Headsets Audio 40 model. i'll be glad to use it while recording my next podcast.

Another Podcast

Yeah, so this is what I did in my spare time. The voice recording should sound a lot better. I explain most of it in the podcast. I don't know why I did another one, but enjoy! (that's two days in a row. :-P)

uhhhhhhh, yeah. this'll be the last podcast I ever do that includes mainstream music. being a kid, i have the right to mess up and throw in some mainstream coldplay... riiiiigght.....

A new era

here begins a new era in my life. The play is over, just about everything in school reminded me of it somehow... it's hard. I'. ( i guess). yeah, well. I'm hoping some of my friends will have a LAN party soon, so there. :-P (what?!?!) Tyler was sick today. I hope you get better, man. Latin just isn't the same.

As for a podcast. I gave up last night after a few failed attempts. maybe I expect to much from myself and a G3, maye not. but it sucked. It was about a 20 minute show too. I just don't want to put such a bad recording out on the internet. if you feel differently, feel free to let me know.

YOU KNOW WHAT?!?! I'M GOING TO RELEASE MYPODCASTINTO THE WILD!! GO, RUN FREE!! (man, am i wierd.)

So long, xanga.

Current list of those willing/looking at leaving/or allready left xanga.

Agent Skippy, of course.
Blake A.
tyler
Will G.
Alex A.
...
any others?

As for keeping everything in one place for ease of use, my brother has shown me an awesome alternative. its Del.icio.us. Here is a small preview, it is my Delicious account. You can organize all your "bookmarks into one single page/database using a gmail-like organization system (not that of the standard Folder hierarchy). I can start adding a bunch of FRA blogs to my list, and tag them with FRAblogs tag, then when you go to http://del.icio.us/tag/FRAblog you will find all the blogs added by anyone in their database (if you create your own account, you can add as well) bam, everyone is connected. AAANNDD you can subscribed to these through RSS Feeds. (RSS= really simple syndication). It is a borken down, nothing but the text version of a weblog, which is much easier to read from a simple txt file than going to and searching through your mail/ the xanga pages. DON'T BE AFRAID OF CHANGE XANGANEERS. The time has come...

P.S.- ask me about any of this, and I'll explain with better detail. and, as for a podcast, I should have one by tomorrow sometime. :)

ITS ALL OVER!!

I don't believe it... "The Dining Room" is over... What'll I do in the afternoons? THANKSGIVING IS NEXT WEEK?!?!?!?! Holy crap, what happened to the past two weeks. (spent them in a freaking dining room) I loved every minute of it. There won't be a podcast to go with this post due to the homework that I must complete :-(. What a bummer, what a way to end the entire show... doing homework... Anyway, the next few days'll be really really hard. i'm gonna have to find some way to get by, I know I will. I'll probably end up buying the soundtrack to How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying for something to look forward to. Allright, I'm out for the night.

O yeah, and i changed the URL for the blog to http://DailyGrindCoffee.blogspot.com . It just makes more sense...

My only night off

The latest audioblog I did thid one last night, my only night off from the Dining Room. Enjoy. I apologize in advance for the crappy audio recording of my voice. Its either the mic I'm using, or the crap stuck in my throat thanks to the cold weather, or probably a combination of the two. :-P

Check out my podcast from this past friday. (AKA: my only night off)

Feedburner better recognize this...

Friday, November 12, 2004

PodCasting

Well guys, I will be setting up a better podcast sometime soon. Once the play is over, I'll have more time. So I'm just going to put that initiative on the pending shelf...

The Dining Room

That's all that my life has been for the past couple of days. One BIG Dining Room...

Tuesday, November 09, 2004

The Daily Grind

So, I'm having some trouble with this feedburner thing. I'm Not exactly sure what to do, but I'm REALLY tired, I'll have to get back to that in about a week, after the play...

I'll get this feedburner thing worked out. In time... Aaaannnndd... I apologize in advance for the CRAPPY CRAPPY recording, i'm in the throws of a play, so.

well, I ended up taking the post off, because it sucked so badly, i'll get back to you this weekend.

Monday, November 08, 2004

NEW!! PodCast!

This blog can generate RSS feed. You know how much xanga sucks?!?! Well, I looked into podcasting. Its like a radio show/blog/thing. Its really interesting, it'll be big, revolutionizing the radio. This'll just be a test to see what all I can do, hopefull you xanganeers can go for a little change. Seriously, xanga sucks. The only reason I use it is because all you FRAers use it. Time for something different.

Wednesday, May 19, 2004

A change.

Well, Here I've decided to test out this blogger that google recommended. As far as I've seen, the options are much more numerous and better quality. I hope others from xanga will join me.
